Kananaskis & Spray Valley Provincial Park

Mount Engadine Lodge remains the only development in the Spray Valley Provincial Park, and we take that privilege seriously, existing in harmony with our gorgeous surroundings. With some of the greatest hiking and cross country trails in the nation, Spray Valley has long been a camping destination, and our lodge brings the comforts of the indoors to this great natural backdrop.

Enjoy the scenic trip down the Smith-Dorrien Trail and access areas such as Rummel Lake, Tryst Lake, Chester Lake, Burstall Pass and Buller Pass. With conservation high on the mandate for the park’s future, the area promises to be beautiful for generations to come.

Get off the tourist route and sample the delights of Alberta

"A friendly and helpful team run the lodge to give visitors the best possible experience. We stayed for 4 nights and were able to see a variety of wildlife and do some hiking in the surrounding Provincial Park….The views of the meadow, river and mountains were spectacular from our room, the restaurant and decking…Everyone sits down to meals at the same time which was a lovely way to meet people and learn from them ideas of good places to visit….We enjoyed our visit and would recommend it to anyone who wants to get off the tourist route and sample the delights of Alberta, Canada.”
